Finally tried green pepper fish fillets. Generous serving, could feed 3 easily. Fish cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the spice level. The szechuan peppercorns make your tongue tingle like the food is talking back to you!! Good service. Jury is out on jelly dessert. Interesting idea. Dried fruit, nuts and red beans in lychee? flavored clear gelatin. Enjoy this place.
Came back for the 3rd time. This time we tried different dishes and oh man, these were also amazing!! Westlake beef soup 5/5 Golden spareribs 5/5 Cooked to perfection. Crispy and flavorful Pig intestines in flaming pot 5/5 This place is the best and has the most authentic Szechuan food!
Hot and sour soup was full of spice. Loved it. Ate the whole bowl. Ordered Dan Dan noodles. They were in a roth. Also ate the whole order. Bring friends. Great food
A delicious and much needed addition to the Concord area! I was eager to try this restaurant out and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious. The honey walnut prawns were light and crispy (not heavily doused in mayonnaise like other restaurants) and the salt&pepper chicken was well flavored, crispy, and reminded me of delicious Taiwanese street food. The chili chicken had a nice warm spice too. Looking forward to coming back!
I'm so happy to have discovered this new spot for authentic Sichuan cuisine! They served me a very generous portion of mapo tofu really hit the spot--best I've had in along time (tender tofu and the right spice mix) and not Americanized like most other Chinese restaurants these days. The inside is clean and feels high end. I'm excited to make this my new go-to spot for Chinese food and can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes!
The food here is so delicious! I would definitely recommend this place! We ordered online for pick up and it was ready in 20 minutes. The portions are big and everything tasted fresh. It came out to be about $60+, but totally worth it in my opinion. We definitely had enough left overs for another meal. They seem to have revamped the interior from the last owners and they added more lights to the exterior. Would love to dine in next time!
So excited about this place! Best Szechuan I have found in the Diablo Valley. Ma Po Tofu is one of my favorite dishes ever, and this place does it right. Just the right level of heat, and the depth of flavor in the chili oil is on point. The broccoli chicken was very fresh, and the crispy spicy fish was amazing. The service is also incredibly fast, way faster than the other Szechuan place in Pleasant Hill. The prices are also better and the portion sizes are bigger. We have a new favorite spot!
